Catherine Douzel “The mind is its own place, and in itself, can make heaven of Hell, and a hell of Heaven.” John Milton |
In the last article you heard the ancient story of how tea was invented and how it’s similar to the way your mind works.

But to deliver on those promises you must listen to a short story.

Now, buckle up because this wild ride will be bumpy…

The amazing journey to mystic city.
Not so long ago, 3 people came together for a journey. They searched for their destiny.
The 3 people were very different and many times they argued and even fought amongst themselves.
The first person in this trio was Moe. Moe was a burly man and, at times, had Herculean strength. But he was not very logical. In fact, he was very moody. He was suddenly happy, suddenly sad and even sometimes mad. He had a love-hate relationship with the only lady in this trio.
The only lady in this trio was Akshen (pronounced Ak-shen). She was the winner of the Olympic women’s triathlon. So she was fit, strong and had a “Joan of Arc” take charge outlook.
The third and final person was a skinny guy named Flash. He was lightening fast and curious about everything. His long stick-like fingers were always finding trouble. And he was prone to changing his mind often.
This trio hiked deep into the treacherous Himalayan mountains. They were searching for Mystic city. Legend said that anyone who reaches it is granted whatever they wanted. They held a treasure map that marked the Mystic City with a giant M shaped rock.
After 21 days of trekking into the mountains they came to a monstrous canyon. A thick blanket of fog hid the bottom of the
canyon. But, to their delight, they could see a giant M-shaped rock just on the other side of the canyon.
Unfortunately, they saw no way to cross the canyon.
They walked along the canyon wall and found an old swinging
bridge. The bridge was guarded by monks who would only let them pass if they agreed to follow 3 rules.
“To Cross The Bridge You Must Follow 3 Rules”
First, they could only cross if they were tied hand to hand.
Second, once they started across they could never return
Third, if they truly want to succeed they MUST work together.
All 3 agreed to the rules. Their hands were tied together then they gingerly started across
the bridge. They had no faith in that old bridge so they moved as if walking on eggs. They expected the bridge’s wooden planks to crack causing them to fall to their death at any moment.
Their caution made the trip exceedingly slow and strenuous. Yet, the further they walked onto the bridge the worse the strong whirling winds became. And, to make maters worse, an electrical storm appeared out of nowhere.
Akshen bravely lead the trio. Flash’s scrawny fingers held the rope as if his life depended on it. The unforgiving wind nearly tossed him over. Moe, while heavy enough to withstand the wind, was practically
scared to death. Beads of sweat seemed to dive off his eyebrows into the canyon’s abyss.
They peeked over the side of the bridge, and even though they could not see the bottom (because of the dense fog),
they could tell by the sounds and sense that very different things were happening on each side of the bridge.
On the left side of the bridge they could hear joyous singing. On the right side of the bridge they heard the clinking sound of metal and people working.
As they continued across the bridge the howling wind and electrical storm became even more ferocious. It seemed to attacked them. Suddenly Flash was blown over the left side of the bridge. Moe quickly pulled him up; When a wooden plank shattered beneath Moe’s feet. As Moe began to fall, Akshen and Flash grabbed his burly arms.
They tried to save Moe but they were fighting a losing battle. Moe knew he was about to fall so, in desperation, he decided to swing towards the singing. He hoped he would survive the fall and someone would be there to help (besides Moe loved the singing). Just before he slipped away, Akshen’s jaw dropped in surprise when she heard and saw something extraordinary.
— story break —
Ok my friend, if you’ve read this far congratulations you’ve come a long way!
Because I respect your time and I don’t want to take too long before giving you useful success tips we’ll break here. I promise to complete this adventure in the next newsletter. But let me reveal several secrets of this story right now.
How This Story Is Connected To Think And Grow Rich, The Ancient Tea Story And You
Napoleon Hill focused the power of your thoughts. But because your thoughts, emotions and actions are tightly braided together it’s NOT enough to just focus on your thoughts. That’s why tea is actually a mental mastery acronym.

The ‘T’ in TEA is for your Thoughts
The ‘E’ in TEA is for your Emotions
The ‘A’ in TEA is for your Actions
I dare say that, more than anything else your T.E.A.™, your trio of Thoughts, Emotions
and Actions are the critical ingredients that determine if your life is very sweet, sour or somewhere in between. More importantly, in the same way that a branch from a tea tree can grow another tea tree, your personal T.E.A.™ also gives birth to more of the same.
The critical question is what is kind of T.E.A.™ have you planted today?
Consider this: What kind of life would grow if your T.E.A.™ from this morning was planted? What thoughts and
emotions did you have this morning? What kind of action did you take? Were you motivated? Grateful? Successful? Did you do anything that would make you more money?
/—Mark’s Straight Talk Tip —/
Just reading this story plants good T.E.A.™ in your mental teapot so pat yourself on the back for that.
Also remember that positive thinking without positive action takes you positively nowhere! So give yourself the gift of honestly answering the above questions.
Remember that your T.E.A.™ includes your thoughts, emotions and ACTIONS! So leap into action. You’ll be glad you did.
/——/
Keep in mind that you must plant the ‘right’ T.E.A.™ to achieve your objective. The easiest way to plant the right T.E.A.™ is
to model those who have already done what you’re trying to achieve.
If you want to make money or build wealth then you need the T.E.A.™ that builds wealth each day. That’s why Think Rich Software feeds you all 13 Steps To Riches. It gives you the thoughts, emotions and actions that have been proven to build wealth.

Success Secrets from… the Amazing Journey To Mystic City
Now let me divulge a couple of master secrets from the story.
Master
Secret Number 1:
The amazing journey is actually a journey deep into your mind. Just as story’s 3 explorers searched for their destiny, your destiny is tied to how well you use your mind. By learning to control your T.E.A.™ you can attain anything you desire.
The electrical storm in the story represented the electrical impulses perpetually that shoot through your mind. In fact, in the book Evolve Your Brain, Dr. Dispenza said “Everyone has their own neurological weather patterns”
The wind represented the arbitrary winds of society influencing and how they influence your decisions. The wind also influenced our 3 explorers which brings us to…
Master Secret Number 2:
Do you remember the 3 people described in the amazing journey? There was Moe, Akshen and Flash. Right now,
they are all living in your mind.
Consider this…
- Flash represents your… Thoughts
- Moe represents your… Emotions
- Ak-shen represents your… Actions
So, here’s the point… while your thoughts, emotions and actions might try to accomplish the same objective they can go about it in different ways. And, contrary to popular opinion, the relationships between your thoughts, emotions and actions are not so simple.
In fact, neuroscientists have PROVEN that some actions and even some emotions occur without conscious thought (and some occur WITHOUT any thought all). It’s absolutely true. I’ll cover this more in future newsletters.
Lastly, in the same way you can use your thoughts to direct your behavior and ultimately your success, your can also use your emotions and actions as a tools to create more success.
This is covered in greater detail in the next newsletter but just realize that from moment to moment these three are struggling to achieve your life’s objectives. If they are synchronized you perform at peak levels.
Well, this brings us to the end of this discussion for now. You have plenty to chew on. The point is to focus on more than just your thoughts. Focus on your T.E.A.™ it is the key.
May you… Think And Grow Richer!
Mark
PS. In a future post you’ll find out what happened to the 3 explorers and you’ll hear more about how to put this story to work in your life so you achieve more wealth, health, love and happiness.
